Another quarter another Honorable Mention for the Q3 Writers of the Future contest.
I’ve got to thank my compatriots are Hatracker’s Writers Workshop for help on this one. It was months ago that I started on The Lyre’s Surprise. It was an awful piece of work. The WotF Q3 group (early submission) really beat me up on this one and it was needed.
As it was, I didn’t expect an HM, but I’m glad to get it.
Out of lots and lots of stories, there were 83 honorable mentions and even fewer finalists.
